The Little Clinic offers ACC and private acupuncture appointments with Rebecca Dodson. Your visit includes time to discuss your concerns and treatment options, with a choice of follow-up appointment lengths for private care.
ACC
Acupuncture appointments for people with eligible ACC-covered injuries. Rebecca will discuss your injury, assess your needs and explain the proposed treatment before you begin. If you are unsure whether your claim can be used, contact Rebecca before booking.

Private
Private acupuncture appointments begin with a discussion about your health, current concerns and what you would like from treatment. Rebecca uses fine needles and may include other Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques where appropriate. Your options will be explained before treatment begins.

Rebecca will advise which follow-up length is appropriate for your treatment.
Traditional techniques
Cupping, moxa and gua sha may be included in your acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine appointment where appropriate. Cupping uses suction cups on the skin, moxa uses warmth from dried mugwort and gua sha uses a smooth tool to apply pressure across the skin. Rebecca will explain any technique she recommends before proceeding.
These techniques are included where used within your ACC or private acupuncture/TCM appointment.
Dry needling
Dry needling uses fine needles to target particular areas of muscle, often described as trigger points. Rebecca will assess whether this approach is appropriate for you and explain how it differs from acupuncture. There is time to discuss any concerns about needles before deciding how to proceed.

Add on
Book extra time for remedial massage and/or myofascial cupping alongside your acupuncture appointment. Cupping within your standard acupuncture appointment is included; the prices below apply only when you book additional treatment time.
